There is no more perfect place to hide for the female narcissist than behind the guise of motherhood. At once socially acceptable and morally beyond question, there is nothing she is not given a license to do here. Children of this mother are subjected to extremes in emotional and mental abuse. They grow up in the shadow of someone who uses them for validation and for supply.

Defeating the narcissistic mother is a hard road that some don’t escape. Horrifying, demanding, and intense, her pain becomes the pain of all those around her. Their mistakes her personally.

The only way to escape those women who use motherhood as their source of narcissistic supply is to expose them. Breaking up their shadows with the illumination of truth, we are freed to create new patterns and beliefs for ourselves and our children.
