It’s been a revelation. Both to the turbulence of celebrity relationships, and the dark reality of some of our favorite stars.
Each a darling of the screen in their own ways, the ongoing civil trial has painted the two heartbreak-destined lovebirds in an entirely new light — with some seeing Johnny as the victim and others seeing Amber as a lost soul.
As the proceedings lag on, though, the trial has taken on a new life. Rather than vindicating a wronged man, it’s turned into a vicious, malicious, state-sponsored source of entertainment that has warped our sense of right and wrong.
It doesn’t even matter if Amber Heard is guilty at this point.
