We are really just waking up to understand the power of the human mind and how it works. For a lot of us, that means realizing that we have taken on a lot of toxic conditioning and beliefs in our lifetime that have led to less-than-stellar results.

That’s especially true for those of us who were raised in narcissistically abusive households and families (or those with a pattern of toxic relationships).

Day-in and day-out we are beaten down and belittled. Our emotional states are denied, and we are people are denied the space we need to embrace our inherent sense of self and our natural needs.

This results in programming, or conditioning, that patterns all of our other behaviors moving forward. Specifically, we learn to keep ourselves as small as possible, and this can result in the particularly painful Prometheus Syndrome.
